Dementia Alliance of North Carolina

Dementia Alliance of North Carolina provides personal, individualized support to thousands of families from across the state through an intentional model of support; one caregiver, one individual and one interaction at a time. Our programs offer CARE – Comfort, Assistance, Resources and Education to individuals and families living with dementia.

About Our Programs:

Dementia Navigation: Our Dementia Navigator determines the individual needs of incoming families. As a result, we are able to provide personalized information, referrals, and other forms of caregiver assistance.

Education: We provide in-person and online education for families and professional caregivers. By attending these workshops, conferences, and support groups, caregivers experience reduced stress and improved quality of life.

Music & Memory at Home: An evidence-based program that helps people living with dementia find renewed joy and connection through music.

Local Research: We fund local research of dementia science and care options.

Eastern North Carolina Alzheimer’s Association

Serving 51 eastern counties in North Carolina, the Alzheimer’s Association – Eastern North Carolina Chapter is here to help. We provide education and support to all those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias throughout our community, including those living with the disease, caregivers, health care professionals and families. We are also committed to advocating for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s disease and advancing critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.

Participate in one of our free local programs in person or from home, including education programs, support groups, and advocacy events. We offer three types of programs for North Carolina residents facing Alzheimer’s:

In-person: Hosted locally for people to learn together in-person. Registration is required, and registrants will be sent additional event details prior to the date of the program.

Live Webinar: Program is offered live via a webinar platform. Registration is required, and registrants will be sent additional webinar details prior to the date of the program. Participants will be given the option of joining via video/webinar or through a toll-free number.
